Akshita Narra, MD

Dr. Narra was born and raised in India where she received her medical training before moving to the United States. She completed her clinical research at Beth Israel Medical Center in Boston, MA where she studied various clinical outcomes in hemodialysis patients and kidney transplant recipients. Her love for medicine, specific physiology, translated into a career in nephrology. She completed her Residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Connecticut in Farmington, MA, and moved across the country to complete Nephrology and Kidney Transplant Fellowships at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, OR.

Dr. Narra’s clinical interests include acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, and kidney transplantation. Her care philosophy is to understand patient’s life goals and help them achieve those goals as best as they can, while continuously educating and partnering with them through their disease process. When not practicing medicine, Dr. Narra enjoys reading and exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest with her family.

Dr. Narra accepts most major insurance plans, including Medicaid, Medicare and commercial insurance.
